How it works
From a worried phone call to a steady week.
There is no assessment fee, no intake packet, and no pressure to commit on the first call. Here is the whole path, so you know what you are walking into.
You reach out
A short form, or a phone call if that is easier.
Tell us who needs help, where they live, and what has become difficult. You do not need to know what kind of care to ask for. Most families do not, and that is fine.
- No cost to inquire, and no obligation
- We read every message ourselves
- We reply usually the same day, and always within one business day
A free conversation
Fifteen or twenty minutes, unhurried, on the phone or in the home.
We ask what a normal day looks like now, what has changed, who else is helping, and what you would want off your plate first. Then we tell you plainly what we can do, what we do not do, and roughly what it would take.
- We come to you, or we talk by phone
- No sales pitch and no pressure to decide
- If we are not the right fit, we will say so
A plan and a match
A simple care plan in plain words, then an introduction.
We write down the hours, the tasks, the routines and the small preferences that matter. Then we match your family with the caregiver we think fits, and introduce them before the first shift so nobody meets a stranger at the door.
- A written plan you can change at any time
- You meet the caregiver before care begins
- Start within days of the first conversation
The questions families ask before they commit.
How soon can someone start?
Usually within a few days of our first conversation, and sometimes the next day when the need is urgent. Overnight coverage takes a little longer to arrange well.
Who chooses the caregiver?
We do, and then you meet them. If the match is not right, tell us and we will try again. That is not an awkward conversation; it is the point of the introduction.
Can the schedule change?
Yes. Families add afternoons, drop to one visit a week, or call for a weekend while they travel. We would rather adjust than have you cancel.
What if we only need a little help?
A few hours a week is a real arrangement here. Light housekeeping and a grocery run every other Tuesday is not too small to ask for.
Do you require a long contract?
No. We agree on a schedule and a rate in writing, and either of us can stop with notice. Nothing is locked in.
Step one is just saying hello.
You do not need to have it figured out. Tell us what a hard day looks like and we will start there.
